Every veteran deserves a welcome home, and at Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity, we're committed to making that a reality. Through our Serving Veterans initiative, you can contribute to veteran builds and help provide a warm and secure home for those who have served our country. In 2018, we proudly broke ground on the Lee Crossley Veterans' Community, consisting of 26 homes and a community center. Completed in 2019 through unwavering community support and partnerships, this neighborhood has already welcomed numerous local veterans. While the Veterans' Community stands as a testament to our dedication, our commitment to serving veterans doesn't end there. We continue to support veterans in Central Texas through home repairs and homeownership opportunities, firmly believing that every veteran deserves a safe and affordable place to call home.
