Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity's Aging in Place program is a collaborative effort with individuals aged 60 and above, aimed at supporting them in gracefully aging within the comfort of their own homes. Our comprehensive program is tailored to address age-related barriers such as health concerns, isolation, hunger, and transportation challenges. Through safety improvements, mobility modifications, and coordination with additional resources, we strive to enhance the quality of life for older adults in our community. With a focus on critical repair concerns including safety, accessibility, and mobility, our team installs essential features like ramps and grab bars to ensure that seniors can navigate their homes with ease and confidence, promoting independence and dignity as they age in place.
