Over the past decade, our membership program has shielded patients and their families from open-ended balance billing, while our refined billing practices have minimized out-of-pocket expenses, averaging just $200 per patient. In alignment with the federal government's commitment to protect consumers from unexpected medical billing through the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, we have made the proactive decision to discontinue our membership program. We firmly believe that this shift reflects our dedication to providing the highest level of air medical services at the most affordable rates, eliminating the need for outdated membership practices and ensuring the continued well-being of our communities and patients.
