Join us in a collaborative journey with the Cochise County Public School Districts through our transformative Therapeutic Riding Classes. During the school year, CANTER partners with these districts to offer specialized riding experiences for students with special needs. This unique partnership allows students to benefit from tailored lesson plans designed by school therapists and our experienced instructors. With transportation provided by the schools, students engage in 30-minute group lessons, three mornings a week, fostering growth and well-being.
Our specially trained horses, certified PATH instructors, and dedicated volunteer handlers create a supportive environment, ensuring an enriching experience for every student. For private pay individuals with their own transportation, integration into these classes is considered on a case-by-case basis, further expanding the reach of this exceptional opportunity.
