Memory Care

At Edencrest, our Memory Care Program follows a social model. The Health Care Coordinator works with residents and their support systems to create a customized service plan that focuses on the abilities of each individual. Our Resident Assistants are provided guided instruction and hands-on training to provide residents with meaningful experiences and purposeful activities designed to improve their quality of life. Our Health Care Coordinator and Resident Assistants receive specific training to ensure our Memory Care Program is soothing, interactive, and welcoming. Activities are planned to touch on the physical, spiritual, occupational, emotional and intellectual levels of the person living with dementia. Residents are treated with dignity and respect, make their own choices, and live their life to the fullest.
