Open to children Ages 7-14 (as of December 31st) or Grades 2-8. Eligibility Requirements: You must live in one of these 4 towns, Maywood, Rochelle Park, South Hackensack & Hackensack, to be eligible to participate in the Hackensack Jr. Wrestling Program. NEW THIS SEASON: "Proof of Residency" is now required for ALL participants. Season runs from late November to around March 1st. $75.00 Registration Fee. Checks payable to: Hackensack Junior Wrestling. The $75.00 Registration fee covers entry fees into all tournaments and matches that the team competes in, as well as team sweat shirt, sweat pants, Practice T-Shirt and shorts which the wrestler keeps. The team match singlet (uniform) is loaned to the wrestler and must be returned at the end of the season or an additional replacement fee will be charged. You must purchase wrestling shoes and a protective headgear for the wrestler on your own. A mouth-guard is necessary if your child wears braces. Registration is Limited". and there is "In Person Registration Only" for all wrestlers on the dates that are specified on the registration flyer which is given out in the Public Schools in the eligible towns or may be obtained at the Hackensack Recreation Department in the early fall.
